Stella Theohare Obituary

Stella Theohare, entered into rest on Thursday, November 29, 2007 at the Kaplan Family Hos-pice Residence, Newburgh. She was 80.

Daughter of the late Constantine and Evangeline Sadari Theohare, she was born February 27, 1927 in Salmon Falls, N.H.

Stella was a member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church. She was also an artist and enjoyed playing the piano. She was a loving sister and aunt who will be missed dearly.

Survivors include her loving brother James Theohare; sister, Mary Dzurilla; nieces, Tina Irwin and Evangeline Spiliotis and her husband Nicholas; nephews, Gregory Syrianos and his wife Paulette, Joe and Peter Tinelli; and several great nieces and nephews.

Her sisters, Sophia Syrianos and Katherine Tinelli, predeceased her.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Monday, December 3 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave. Newburgh. A Trisagion service will take place at 7 p.m.

A funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 4 at St. Nicholas Greek Or-thodox Church in Newburgh. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Newburgh.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions on Stella's behalf may be sent to Kaplan Family Hos-pice Residence, 1 Sunrise Lane, Newburgh, NY 12550, or to the American Cancer Society, 419 E. Main St., Middletown, NY 10940.
