Harriet Heaster Obituary

Bloomingburg, NY - Harriet I. Heaster, of Bloomingburg, a homemaker and 1-year resident of the area, formerly of Rockland County, passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2007 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Horton Campus. She was 68.

The daughter of the late Harry Schneberger and Helen Hoover Schneberger, she was born on February 13, 1939 in Dayton, Ohio. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Piermont FD, and a member of the Piermont Senior Citizens.

A family statement reads: "Harriet was a dedicated wife and loving mother and grandmother."

Survivors include her loving husband of 47 years Terry; her three loving children: Veronica Peressini and her husband Wayne of Bloomingburg, Duane Heaster and John Heaster also of Bloomingburg; four loving grandchildren: Nicole, Jessica, Matthew and Cassidy; two loving great-grandchildren: Lorenzo and Nicolas; two loving brothers: Harry Schneberger of Pennsylvania and Robert Schneberger of Maryland; one loving sister: Phyllis Christoff of Pennsylvania.

Visitiation will be held on Sunday, December 9 from 2-4 p.m. at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc., 1525 Burlingham Rd., Pine Bush, NY 12566.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 10 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Robin Hogle officiating. Burial will be in the Bloomingburg Cemetery, Bloomingburg.
