I met Debbie through her son Seth. She was like a mother to me. Always asked how I was doing and was there to listen if I ever needed to talk. I knew from the first time i walked into the house that she was a very loving wife and mother. She would do anything for family and friends. She will be greatly missed. Its still hard to belive that she is no longer with us.

I never knew Debbie as Mrs. Reynolds, it was always Mom. She cared for everyone as if they were her own. She didn't have just one child, she had hundreds and her love for us never seemed to run out. Thank you for all of your warm compassion and memories, Debbie. You will be greatly missed and remembered.

I have never meet a person with a bigger heart than debbie. Everytime any of us came over to seth's place we were welcomed into her home with open arms. She set an amazing example of how to live your life according to your beliefs. She will be greatly missed.

To my other MOM, there hasn't been a day thats passed since I havent thought of you. You were always so caring of Seth and all of us who came to visit you at the wonderful lake home that was full of your joy, I can still hear your voice asking "how are things going with racing?" and " don't worry everything will be ok".Its funny how you went from being my librarian to another Mother, we shared so many wonderful days together and we will again one day! The thing that I will miss the most sbout you not being here with us anymore besides all the great food, is you sitting there at 2AM working the puzzle downstairs. Words can never describe how deeply you have touched and influenced my life. Not a day has passed that I haven't thought of you. I will never forget and will always miss that warm loving hug that always awaited me every time i saw you. They, just like you always had the power to turn even my worst days into great days. My world just isn't the same with out my momma's heart of gold, and kind laughter around to make everything right. The love you should me, Seth, and all of your sons and daughters will be truly missed, but never forgotten. I know that you were taken way before any of us could ever dream, but with that, I know you're in a place where your love can really shine. Mom,
You were always more than a mother to me, you were a best friend. You were always there when I needed someone and no matter what kind of trouble I had gotten into you would find some kind of humor in it...eventually. We had so many memories together going places and doing things together. Things are going to be different without you around, especially with all my big moments to come but I know you will be looking over me with your huge smile with Granny, Papa and Johnny Boy.
Thank you for everything you did for me and for being a wonderful mother. You will always be in my heart and I will never forget you! I love you mom!

Mrs. Reynolds was an extraordinary woman. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend. She always put her family before anyone or anything else. I only knew Mrs. Reynolds for a couple years because of her remarkable son Seth, I am so thankful that she was a part of my life. The Reynolds family has made a huge impact in my life, and I am extremely lucky to have had the chance to know Mrs. Reynolds. She will always be remembered and missed dearly.

I met Ms.Reynolds though her son Seth. I could tell that she was a wonderful women from the second that I meet her and how seth talked about her. Debbie was alway there to listin and would help you any way she could. I know Seth is going to miss his mother, so are all his freind.

Debby always had a smile on her face and truly loved having us around her house. Whenever we would show up and hangout with Seth, she wouldn't let us leave without making sure we got a good meal. She had a huge heart and would do anything for her friends and family. She will be greatly missed by everyone she knew!

Debbie was a second mom to myself and all of our close group of friends. It didn't matter how many of us were in her home at one time, she made sure that we were all taken care of and well fed. She was full of love to give and never seemed to run out of it. I've always believed the true measure of a person is revealed by their affect on the world. At Mrs. Reynolds viewing it became extremely clear just how many lives she had touched. I feel honored that one of those lives is my own.

I never got the honor to meat Ms. Reynolds,but i do know her son Seth. I know that Seth loves his mom, and family is big for him. He would do anything for his friends and family and what ive heard of his mom, she was the same way. When he talked about his mom he made it seem like she was gold. An amazing mother he had.

I met Debby through her only son, Seth, my first year of college. We spent every summer since I have known them at their lake house playing on the water and having a great time together. Debby always made sure we had enough food to eat after spending the day there. When Seth and I decided to move away from home and become roommates, Debby, Johnny, and her sister Sherry made sure we had the best of everything for our new place. She always sent up the best food and I will never forget the picture frame she gave me that I will always keep on my wall to remember her. :) She reminded me of my mom in a lot of ways because of her love for cooking, Christmas, and opening up her house for all of her son's friends. Thank you, Debby! It means more to us than you will ever know. I will miss our little talks and your great smile! You raised a wonderful son and you should be proud!! We will take care of him for you! :)

Ms. Reynolds was one of the most awesome faculty members at Mountain View School. She had a heart of gold and she truly loved each and every child she came in contact with. Women like this are rare. It is my pleasure to say I had the honor of knowing this woman. She will be greatly missed!!!!

Mrs. Reynolds knew I liked sports a lot. Every time I went into the library at Mountain View, she always helped me find sports books she thought I would be interested in. When I left elementary school, she even gave me some sports books to keep that she knew that I liked. Mrs. Reynolds was an awesome woman and I am really proud to have known her and her son.

Libraries have always been one of my favorite places, thanks to your mom. I will always remember the story of how my sister broke Mrs. Reynolds's rocking chair in the library, because her rocking got a little out of control. My sister became a librarian much later, and I will always think it must go back to the days of the Mt. View library. I am grateful to have known Mrs. Reynolds my whole life, because she was such an influential person and a role model of how to think of others first and be a better person. I will never forget all of the memories I have of Mrs. Reynolds, from her reading stories at Mt. View to her cooking dinner for us when Seth had friends over and coming to every NHS game to cheer on the band. She will remain to be admired by many people, because she was such a great woman.

Debby (Mama Reynolds) was the sweetest most caring person I have ever met, not to mention the best cook. I thought of her as my other mother, she had a way of making me feel happy and treated me as her own.
Her smile could heal the sick and make a cloudy day shine, it was just as beautiful as her.
She is going to be greatly missed. I intend on living my life, hoping I will be half as good of a mother, daughter, teacher and friend as Debby.
I am so thankful to have met the Reynolds family. They are all a blessing.

Debby served Mt.View in so many ways, not only as an enthusiastic, helpful librarian, but as a cheerful, caring co-worker. It is true that she encouraged reading; her baby shower gifts to me were several children's books. I look forward to reading them to my son and telling him about the special lady who gave them to him. It is comforting to know that Debby is looking down on all of us. I am a former student of Mountain View Elementary and was saddened to hear of Mrs. Reynolds' passing. She was an inspiration to me and my career choice of being an English major. She inspired me to read and to explore the wonderful books of mystery and intrique. I love books of all kinds but especially those of mystery.

Johnny, Seth, Sherry and Buddy,
We are so sorry to hear about your great loss. I believe we live on in this world through the great memories we leave behind, and in Debbie’s case she leaves an unreal amount of very special memories because she was a special person. With me I remember going to her house on Christmas morning to visit with Uncle Johnny, Aunt Sabra, Sherry and Debbie, what a sweet happy little girl. Then there was the Cabin in Montvale we ran played and were allowed to be happy children there while building some more awesome memories. We were such a lucky family to be able to get together almost every holiday; the Fourth of July at was always one of my favorites. I remember on Fourth in particular when Debbie and Sherry brought their dates Johnny and Buddy, two great guys that just fit in from day one. Then there was Christmas, first at Granddaddy’s then at Uncle Johnny and Aunt Sabra’s house, you always got a kiss, great food and a family that loved you no matter what. What an awesome moment when we found about Seth a child that was loved so much that he could not help but be a reflection of his two special parents. I will end by saying that I am positive that J. P. Helms would be so proud of the positive impact Debbie had on so many people’s life. Remember the memories will only grow brighter.

Mrs. Reynolds was my librarian at Mt. View from K-6. She was an amazing librarian/educator. I always looked forward to the weekly library visits, and I credit her for my great love of reading and books. I am an elementary teacher now, and in my last 14 years of teaching, I don't think I have ever met a librarian quite like her. She was a wonderful person, and she will be missed. My deepest sympathies to her family.

I had Mrs. Reynolds a few years back and I will always remember her love of reading and how much she cared about the students and making sure they had great books. She was always so nice and I always loved it when she read us books and novels during our time at Mountain View's library.

What a wonderful lady! I saw Mrs. Reynolds about a year ago at Walmart. I chased her down to speak to her and as I was getting ready to tell her my name (I'm 39) she greeted me by saying my name. I couldn't believe she remembered me, but shouldn't have been surprised. She always had a way of making you feel special. I believe there are few people in life, who can impact the lives of so many people, in such a wonderful way What a wonderful lady!

Mrs.Reynolds will be missed by our family. Both of our children went to Mountain View. I'll never forget when she sent my daughter a get well card when she was in the hospital. It meant so much to us that someone would take the time out to reach to others when they were going through tough times. I first met Debby on the T-ball field when my oldest son was playing. A strong friendship grew and soon I had a second "adopted" son named Seth and my son had "adopted" a second mom. Our son's grew up to best friends and we were so lucky to have known her. I know she inspired every child she met. Seth if you or your dad need anything please let us know. Mrs. Reynolds was my and my brothers Librarian at Mountain View Elementary School. She will be missed by all. Mountain View was one of the best Elementary schools in the COUNTRY due in large part to a great Librarian who inspired me and my brothers to read and to read and to read some more and then when we get tired of reading read again. She will be missed most by those who will never get the chance to be inspired by this great woman. Our thoughts, Our prayers and Our hearts go to her family, her friends, her coworkers, and all of her students of the last 35 years. She made a difference in so many lives. It is with sadness I read about Debbie. I attended school with her and enjoyed her wonderful smile and friendship. I continued to be in touch with Debbie at Mt View school while my grandson was attending school there. My thoughts and prayers to her family and friends. Bless you all.

Mrs. Reynolds was my and my brothers Librarian at Mountain View Elementary School. She will be missed by all. Mountain View was one of the best Elementary schools in the COUNTRY due in large part to a great Librarian who inspired me and my brothers to read and to read and to read some more and then when we get tired of reading read again. She will be missed most by those who will never get the chance to be inspired by this great woman. Our thoughts, Our prayers and Our hearts go to her family, her friends, her coworkers, and all of her students of the last 35 years. She made a difference in so many lives. She should be remembered for what she accomplished and also through the accomplishments of those she mentored to.

Mrs. Reynolds was such a special person to all of the students at MVE- I was a student there many years ago, and I loved Mrs. Reynolds. I am so sorry for your sudden loss. I would just like to say that there will never be anyone like Debbie. She was a one of a kind caring, thoughful, and heart warming person. She always welcomed everyone with open arms. I was lucky enough to get to enjoy her presence as a librarian, neighbor, and best of all, second mom. I will truly miss her(and her 17 course meals at the lake :) ). My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Reynolds family.

We've known each other for years throughout school and you are a very sweet person. I know alot of that has come from the guidance of your mother. I will keep you and your family in my prayers and may GOD be with you during this time of sorrow.
I've had the pleasure of having Mrs. Reynolds as a librarian during my elementary school days. She was great. Not only a librarian, but a mentor. She will truley be missed and I know she is an Angel watching over her family.
