We were sad to learn of Warren's passing. Both Tami and I were old school mates of his at Union High in Roosevelt. Warren had a big heart and gentle demeanor. One of the pure in heart. Our heart goes out to Kathy and family.

Dear Kathy and Family:

We were honored and blessed to serve with Kathy and Warren in the Inner City Project for 5 plus years. Our memories of that experience and your part in our lives are very sweet and warm and, thankfully, will always be with us. We are grateful for your dedication and commitment to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and your examples to all as you struggled with Warren's last illness these past three years. I know the Lord is accepting of your contributions, service and examples to all of us and pray that He will always be with you and your family, Kathy, in the days ahead. We know He will. We love you so very much.

"Christ-like" is a good descriptor of Warren...with faith, hope and charity and an eye single to the glory of God... quietly teaching with love, by example as well as through word. His obvious love of family and the gospel and his unwavering testimony will never be forgotten.
Love, Janet and Norris and family

Kathryn, I was so sorry to hear of Warrens passing. I know that he suffered a great deal, but he had such a great attitude, and he worried about you and his family. He was a wonderful person and I know that no one will miss him more than you. We talked a great deal about death and our daughters who has gone on before us. Just remember that Kimberly will be there with him and they will be waiting for you. my deepest sympathy is with you and your family.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the McKenna family and may God watch over you all. We always enjoyed Warren when he would deliver High Country Food to us, he would always talk to my husband about hunting and all the stories that would follow, he was such a great person to chat with on any subject. Warren was a thoughtfull person and we will miss his warm smile and enthusiasm.

McKenna Family,
Warren was a dear friend to us. We loved the times that we spent discussing the programs that could make life better for others. We felt so bad to see him suffer and not be able to do all that he wanted to do. We know that he is so much better off now, in a better place and released from the pain and restrictions. Our memories will sustain us as we're able to reflect on our time together. We pray that yours will do the same for you. We will miss him but know that we will see him again. We've so admired Kathy's strength through this difficult time. Much love to you and may you be sustained in your sorrow.

I am stunned to learn of Warren's death. I was bishop of the Rose Park Center Ward during the years of his service to the inner city project. He was a tremendous leader and support to the Lord's loving work among the people there. Even now I can distinctly remember my interactions with him with great fondness and appreciation for his caring way. I want his dear wife and family to know that your husband and father made a significant difference in my life and the lives of dozens of my ward members. Thank you for supporting him in those efforts.

Dear Kathy and family,
I was so sad to read of Warren's passing. I have missed your calls and his visits from the "HCF" days. I will always remember his positive outlook on life and his wonderful smile. Kathy please let me know if I can help you in any way. You have wonderful children and family I know, but when they aren't around please count on me as a friend that will be there.
