Steven Price Obituary

Steven Oliver Price aka The SteveLady June 20, 1971 -September 15, 2008 Loved and cherished by so many. His dry and wicked sense of humor lasted him all the way to the end of his brave battle with cancer. He passed peacefully with his family and partner Michael at his side. Steven's grace, beauty and talent touched more people than he will ever know. Born to Texan and Argentinean parents in Maracaibo, Venezuela, Steven was raised in Peru, Bolivia, Argentina, and the US, creating a exotic fusion of fierce beauty and style. He will shape minds for generations to come as a conceptual mastermind and performer, filled with originality and vision. Steven set the bar in San Francisco as the first and most unforgettable Miss Trannyshack and as a founding member of the Ronan Ensemble, a Los Angeles actors theatre group. He directed, produced, and starred in numerous plays. Steven loved his friends and we loved him back. When he spoke, poetry and warmth filled the air. He was a lovely man and he will be terribly missed. Steven is survived by his parents Lee and Monica; his sister Natalia; his brother Alexander; and his partner Michael Horrace. There will be private family services for Steven in Bakersfield, CA, and a memorial for him in San Francisco mid October. For more information or to make a donation, please email [email protected].
