We were so sorry to hear about your daughter. I know it has been many years since we have seen each other but memories of russian river never leave our thoughts. I always looked up to you and susie and the older girls as I was the younger one. I didn't know Jenna well but we went to Ben Franklin together and when I saw her picture on the news my heart sank. I remembered her smile instantaneously. May God bless your family at this difficult time.

Dear Mary Pat, Nancy, and family--
We have not been in contact for 20+ years, but I want you to know that my heart is breaking for you and your loss of Jenna. I heard that a bicyclist had suffered gun shot wounds, but never imagined that it was your Jenna. I am still in touch with Christine -- she made the connection for me -- and I can't stop thinking about you all.
Like many of the others who already signed this book, I remember our teens in Daly City and all the fun escapades we shared together. Somehow, we grew up and lost touch. (Nancy, the last time I saw you was when Al & I lived in Rockaway and you lived in Valley Mar. Mary Pat, I think I last ran into you at Walgreen's in SSF.)
I want you to know that my heart goes out to you both and your family. I can't imagine what you must be going through. Jenna was a beautiful and caring person--I remember her and Race as toddlers. Though many years have gone by, we will always be friends. I just want you to know that I care and am here for you.

Jenna was a great person. Someone you loved to be with; someone who dared to be herself and someone I looked up to. She was witty, rebellious and determined. My heart is crying for you all during such an awful life tragedy. Though I didn't know Jenna, in her smile, I see you. Now, Jenna is in God's loving embrace, with no more pain, just peace. That is what I believe; I HAVE to.
May one day warm memories of Jenna help to heal your broken hearts. My thoughts, prayers and tears are with you during this horrendous and difficult time. How tragic that times have so changed~our summertime bike rides from Westbrook Ave. and Clifton Dr. to the Golden Gate Bridge and back, without a worry or care in the world... Life seemed less evil back then. And I believe that it was.
