Almost 12 years now that you've been gone, but you'll always have a place in my heart. Your birthday just passed, and somehow I ended up listening to some White Sister and Tattoo Rodeo today and found this page. Watched "Been Your Fool" Video, & brought back a flash of memories. Feel lucky to have been there that day. Miss you and your drumming, your twirl, your smile and your laugh. So many years have gone by, but you're not forgotten. I'll always think of the Best Man speech you gave at my wedding to Rick almost 30 years ago now. Smile :) You're still in our thoughts, until we see you again old friend!

Still remembering Rich... he was so humble always willing to show me a few tricks on the drums. I still have a pair of his signature drum sticks he gave me one of the times he sat in for a couple of songs at our show. he was such a great talent at his craft and forever missed. love you bro and rest in peace!

Yo guys it's The Petey. I just read about the loss of both Rich and Rick. What crappy ending to a great day. I thought about the band last night when I was prepping a radio show and then played them today. Now I cruise the sites and find this info. I roadied for both Rich and Rick.
Much love to you guys and your families. We had much fun back in the early Burbank days, the Ice House and the Sunset Strip.

So sorry to have lost you Rich. You were a good man. I worked alongside Rich at the paint store in North Hollywood, back in the early-mid 90's. Always made me smile. One day after work, Rich invited me to come party and hang out with the band. We had a blast, saw a show at FM Station, hung out and really got to have fun with Rich doing what he really loved to do. I moved back to Pennsylvania and lost contact after a bit. So sad to read the tragic news. Hope to see you on the other side brother.

I have not seen Rich since 1982 in Hollywood he used to come over to my friends garndmothers house in north Hollywood and give sean tips on his drumming. Sean and I (scott) went to a few shows and got to kick it with the band in the dressing room and back stage I thought that was the coolist thing. I remember the richie ring for the snare he came up with. really sorry to here this. ROCK ON Rich...

I've met Rich once in my life when live and work in Glendale- California 1989 - work together with Dennis Churchill Dries and Rick Chadock of Tatoo Rodeo. They introduced me once to Rich ... Through Rick, I was fortunate enough to get to know Rich. I was truly heartbroken to hear of his passing. Although many years have passed, when I think of Rich, all I hear is his infectious laugh and see his fantastic smile. Rich, lay your hands upon us from Heaven and may you always bring music, laughter and smiles to those who think of you.

I was lucky enough to know Rich. My wife and his sister were best friends years ago. Got to see him play enough to know what fabulous talent he had. The most infectious smile...I remember going to his house and he played "Rode Hard" when it was just a series of demo tapes. Why he ever wanted my opinion, I'll never know. The last time I saw him, he was managing a paint store and Janet and I dropped in to say "Hi". When we heard he was gone, all I could do was cry. So young, so much left to do. Jan and I will miss you every time we hear a song with a strong drumbeat...

You made me laugh more than anyone and I see you in every white butterfly. I'm also sad I wasn't around to see you before you left. Your friend forever, Cindi

I am looking at a signed photo I have of the band, and surrounded by many letters from them. Who actually wrote the letters? I don't know, but each one is signed by each memeber of the band. A double bill of absolute AOR heaven!! How both of these bands were never huge is a complete injustice. I remember watching, mesmerised by Rich's (& Pete Jupp's)playing that night, all those years ago.

Both White Sister and Tattoo Rodeo made some fantastic song but unfortunatly never made it big.
