Scott, I so miss you after all these years. I tell stories about you to my kids about the few wonderful moments we spent together as a friends and how great you were as I was your little grasshopper! I told my son the other day the story about you trying a cigar with port wine and how you hooked on it. I wish you were here to meet them. They are great kids! I miss you so much!!

I met Scott five years ago through a friend that I worked with here in Sacramento. I actually bought the best gi I've ever had right there in his downtown Sacramento home.

He was a very nice, down-to-earth, helpful fellow. I'm very saddened to hear about Scott's passing. I pray that the Lord ministers to the hearts and minds of the family that he left behind.

I just ordered some shorts from the site and see how far the company has come since the first patch Scott had designed. He was so proud of that patch and the prospects of what the future might hold for his new company and idea. Scott was a good man and friend and I think of the days we use to grapple on the floor of his studio before he had mats and we all got rug burn but didn't care..we were just happy to be training. -chris matthews, usaf

I've known Scott had passed for some time but never got to express my thoughts in the guestbook. I've known Scott for 23yrs since I 1st met him at Gold's gym in Citrus heights when he was a skinny, naive highschool kid. I would run into him every few years and the one thing I noticed was that he never lost his sunny disposition and happy go lucky view of life. He will be sorely missed by all friends & family. But his spirit will live forever in the memory of those he has touched.

I just want to say that I will always Miss Scott. He was my Sensei when I was 12 years old when he had his Kosho Ryu Kempo school called Kollet's Karate. I had a weird feeling to look him up on internet today and am grieved at this news... I had heard that he started training in JuiJitsu but had lost contact with him years ago. Well, I pray that we will meet again one day under the rule of our Messiah Yeshua (Jesus).

Shalom uv'racha B'Mashiach Yeshua Scott...

Scott and I met over the telephone. Even so, his genuine demeanor and kindness immediately earned my friendship. In just conversing with Scott, I could see in my minds eye a compassionate and sincere person with a great smile. Although we actually never met in person, I can still see that great smile. Now Carree shares and continues that very rare and memorable legacy. Press on Carree! All the very best to The Kikskin Family now and into the future.

Scott was the first person I met when I moved into the Melrose apartment complex in early 2001. He was a funny, kind, full of life smartass and we became friends right away. Whenever he needed a ride to the airport he would come knocking at my door. After I moved, we kept in touch for a while, but I hadn't spoken to him in about a year and a half. I am shocked and extremely saddened to learn of his passing. Scott was a wonderful person and his memory will remain in my heart forever.
