Grandpa and I had some great times together. He was always at my baseball games no matter how hot it was. I remember the time we got stuck in a mud pile. Grandpa knew exactly what to do, put the truck in four wheel drive and got us right out of that mess. He would always let me go to the horse races with him He taught me all I know about horse races and gambling. I will always remember going to the booze store with him,and getting a lollipop. I miss him a lot and know he is watching over me!

Eileen, Kathy, Steve & Jean,
No words can express the sadness we feel for all of you for the loss of your wonderful husband, father & grandfather. Our family was so fortunate to spend many fun times with him in Lake Tahoe. I will always see him sitting at the table by the pool playing gin with the guys, or doing crossword puzzles with Scott - His eyes always lit up when one of you or his grandchildren were around. You were all truly blessed - We'll all miss him.
Our love and prayers are with you all.

I was a young engineer right out of Oregon State when I met Bob, Eileen, and Kathy in 1954. Bob and I worked together in the organization that became Rocketdyne.
The Fontaine family took this bachelor under their wing and we had many great times together. After I met my wife-to-be at Rocketdyne, Bob agreed to be a groomsman at Dee's and my wedding in 1958.
Our families have been in friendly contact ever since. Dee and I greatly miss Bob and wish all his survivors whatever future peace and happiness they can find.

We knew and valued Bob as a caring and dedicated husband, father and grandfather. Following the marriage
of his Jean Marie and our Greg, we
would meet with Bob and Eileen for dinner and conversation. It wasn't
uncommon for Bob to have tears of pride in his eyes as he lovingly spoke of his children and grandchildren. God Bless Bob and his devoted wife and family. We will miss him, but never forget him.

As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself … any man’s death diminishes me".
