I went to Bingham High School with Mike my Senior year in 1985. He was Mr. Sports, that was for sure! He played them all really well! It's no surprise he went on to have such an awesome life centered around sports after High School. Mike was great!

Hello my name is William Brazill, I played with Mike at Western Illinois University, I fondly remember competing against Mike, along with Don Bebee, Steve Williams, and Chris Earl. Mike was real cool, and a hell of a route runner. I was stunned to see Mike's death in the alumni paper(Western Illinois University). I just turned 43 two weeks ago, and Mike's passing is really hitting home. My deepest and warmest feelings goes out to his family an especially his children......William Brazill-Leatherneck for Life.

Big Joe-Jodie-Joey,
It's taken me a while to get the courage to come to terms with your loss. I will miss him. He was there for when I lost Dad. He had given me so much inspiration to get up, brush off & keep on keeping on. I'm sure my Dad & his Hom are keeping him busy. I am sure he is coaching a football team already.
Love you

//with my head bowed// - I remember fondly Mike's wedding, playing basketball, laughing. This was the cape of our college season, where I first met Mike, where he first had the 'effect' he's had on so many. I remember staying with Christine and him in Boston, eating clams and steamers, laughing, dancing on the floor with the kids. He was and is wonderful friend, an inspiration and I miss him. I send my love to you Mr. Borich, to the kids and the entire family. If you are able to send me your mailing address, I would like to send you a more personal note. You can reach me at: [email protected]

MIKE - I will remember you in my heart everyday I am on this earth and soon when this life is over for me I will tell you in person what an impact you had on my life over 10yrs ago. You were a positive influence on me and helped shape the person I have become. Your smile would light up a room and you could make a bad situation tolerable. I will miss you and think of you often.

Dear Borich Family,
I was deeply saddend to read of the loss of Mike this morning in the paper. My Mother, Judy Nichols Knight,
and your Mom Shaunna were the best of friends since childhood. We lost our Mom this past May. I am certain that they have had a wonderful reunion! Even though I have been gone from the Salt Lake area since i was 12, I have great memories of the Borich Family, visiting at Mike's Grandma Oliver's house and Summer day's spent at Lagoon pretending to be Italian so that we could get into Lagoon on Italian Days with Shaunna and the kids. My thoughts and Prayers are with you all at this most heart wrenching time. I am sure you have the comfort of knowing that Mikey as my family always referred to him, is with his Wonderful Mom and family members who have already past beyond the Veil.
