Krash...my my...I am so sorry to learn of your passing to the next world so late. I don't know why it is until now that I found out. I called your cell phone about a month back and now I know why it didn't connect. I sit here with immense tears as I write. You are now with Chris and I'm sure you are reliving the past years of the good old days @ Solitude. What wonderful times and memories. I'm so thankful for the time that we knew each other...you helped me get through Chris' death....although I'm still "getting through it". Death is difficult for us here; but it's the comfort in knowing that you are at peace that keeps us going. I so look forward to seeing you and Chris again. Say hello to Mark for me as well. Peace and love, my friend! Leslie

You introduced me to a life I've grown to love, including all your many friends and family. Although the time we had was short, I'll never forget you or all the stories you told me about "life in the Krash-lane."
After a mistaken phone call that I'm glad I made, you quickly became my best friend. We made it through a lot together. You certainly did your best to live strong and I'm sorry for you, me and everyone else that we couldn't do it one last time.
"If you love something, set it free. If it comes back to you, it's yours. If it doesn't, it never was."
I love you Krash, you'll be forever in my heart.

Sorry for the late posting, but I recieved this sad news while traveling throught Tibet, where internet access is scetchy.
My condolences to Shaun's family. I have known Shaun since the early 90's at Solitude. Krash was always a great friend to me. Forever cheerful, quick with a joke and always a gentleman. In addition, he selflessly came to my aid as first respondert when I broke my ankle powder skiing at Solitude.
I will miss him dearly.

Dear Shaun and family,
Excuse my late entry I've been away. I'll never forget you buddy and the impact you had on my life. You were always looked up to by those around you, and you led by example. To be honest, I always pictured you to be some kind of warrior- As if you should be carring a quiver, and a sword, and a shield. Thanks for leaving that mark on my mind, and for everything else you did in this life. May blessings be upon you as you continue your journey. Thanks Crash.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to your family and close friends, as I am sure they are deeply saddened for losing your presence in thier lives. We hope they are comforted, and know that you are always with them. Best wishes to Shauns' family.
Thanks again Shaun for the difference you've made.
Sincerely,
Derek

Shaun,
I have a lot of fond memories of you; always walking back and forth past your condo in the Willows. Me and my friends all had a crush on you with your hilarious personality and great hair of the 80's. I'm saddened to hear of your passing. My heart goes out to your family.

I am so sorry to hear of Shaun's loss. Like so many others, I also had not seen Shaun in years - probably not since the infamous, post-high school bash at Lake Powell. My condolences go out to all his family and friends. It is obvious from the multitude of entries here that Shaun continued to touch people's lives, he was a great guy and always such fun to be around. I hope he has found peace.

I knew Shaun at Murray High and he was always such a fun, kind and outgoing person. He never had an enemy in the world as everybody loved to be around him and share the energy that he had. I haven't seen him for many years, but will always remember watching him play hockey and hanging out with him and the crew. I send my sincere condolences to his family and want you to know that he was a one-of-a-kind man and it was a pleasure to have known him.

What a great loss. I will miss the travel and fun times playing fast pitch softball. The old days seemed much easier. The Rebels were named the Rebels for a reason. Shaun was rebellious and did things on his own terms. We always had a close kinship. Shaun always made you feel warm and loved. Go Utes! I hope you have found peace. We love and miss you Shaun.

You mean so much to me and my family. I'll always appreciate the friend that you were. You taught me so much, and some of it kept me here. You always brought a smile to my face and it was obvious that you brought a smile to Ramses' face as well. You're a big part of why Solitude became such a family to me. Do some drills with my buddy for me. Enjoy the world of giant bucks and bulls, endless face shots, and perfect dogs. You will always be my route partner.

Thanks so much for sharing the essence of your soul with us. You enlivened, thrilled, and shared your laughter straight from the heart.
Krash called it "Sharing the Love" rosey cheeks framing that classic smile "Ski it while it's fresh ... the ropelines aren't goin anywhere."
What a deep passion for life he shared it and he lived it.
See ya on the next hike up Fantasy Brother. Peace and Condolences to the Family and Friends.

I haven't seen you in about 16 years but the last time I saw you it was like a day hadn't passed since we had talked. You were an amazing person and I know you will be deeply missed!

To the Shelton family - I met Shaun for the 1st time when he came to NJ and spent the night at my home. He was one of Keith's best friends. Shaun had a pleasant personality and was fun to have in my home. I was glad to meet Shaun and hear his stories about his dogs and excapades. He had such a wonderful time in NY before coming to NJ. I will always remember him. Shaun was so cute, just don't know how he was not married, but that is maybe why Keith and he were such good friends. Keith is always saying don't mention the 'M' word. Please think of the good times you had with Shaun and this will lessen the pain of your lose.
My best hope and wishes go out to you at this time of sorrow.

You are a mystery to me.
I wouldn't pretend to you know you.
A man so driven, but to what?
I could always, like many, feel your heart in an instant with one look, one embrace.
The days you were shining.
The days you were shadowed.
A mystery to me, how one human with so much power and radiance chose a cloud to remain over.
You gave so much & I know not what you allowed to receive.
Now is the time, dear friend, surrender and receive the Love of the Universe.
Now is always the time, for we have no other.
I sing to you on the mountain today in honor and gratitude of all your service.
My wish is that you are carried far beyond to the land of serenity & that your family, both immediate and extended can truly know peace in their hearts.

“KRASH” it has been a fun ride, it was always fun to work with you.
I met Shaun in 1995 when I started at Gold Cross I was drawn to him right away. I loved the atmosphere he projected. It was always fun to sit and talk hunting, or dogs or what crazy thing was going on that day. Shaun I don’t rely know what else to say but you were a good guy and I have a bucket load of happy memories from you and the boys to last a man two life times. I laughed with you, at you, and because of you, and I will always associate you with GOOD TIMES. I am truly sorry that you got sick. I was saddened to see that this had overcome you and I thought if there was anyone to beat this it could be you. Shaun… dam-it-to-hell I hope you ski the hell out of that place and get the biggest bucks and bulls the good Lord has to offer. God bless…. And be free!

Well Krash, you were always great at commanding attenton or grabbing mine and you've succeeded yet again. I first met Shaun the winter of 90-91 when I worked at Solitude. I was really impressed with this guy who had a captivating personality and on special days would tear around the mountain on these huge, and I mean huge boards like 225's or 227's or something, just tearing it up. I always enjoyed seeing you come down Mudshine Bowl or Moonbeam, smooth and graceful, but doing like 60 mph. It pains me some to think the Man needed you right now, but he probably does have some unruly dogs to deal with, and some slopes that need a watchman.
I introduced you to my lady and damn I thought I was in trouble, you with your charm and cool comfortable smile, but to my relief she's not into blondes. She grew to appreciate your friendship too, and this news hits pretty hard. I'm glad that you talked to me about things and that I and so many others could be and are on your team. I always enjoyed having you drop in Spin Cycle and say Hi and hang out, but sorry to say you're not a bike mechanic. We did have many good laughs. I promise to always keep you in my thoughts and know your prepping things for those you know and love including Arry. Make the call and your Dogs will come and heel at your side, they will be the best of friends and companions for eternity and keep you till the rest of us catch up. Rod & Robyn
