 Mary Ann Mee Kyung Mitchell 3/25/1971 ~ 1/18/2007 Mary Ann Mee Kyung Mitchell (Matsuoka), 35, passed away January 18, 2007 due to complications after childbirth. She is a devoted wife and wonderful loving mother of five beautiful children. Born March 25, 1971 in Seoul Korea. She grew up in Sandy, Utah, attended Jordan High School and later graduated from BYU. She currently was a teacher at Riverton Elementary. Married in the Salt Lake Temple for time and all eternity, Mary Ann married the love of her life, Robert Mitchell, February 7, 1992. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Kevin Mitchell; and children, Kayla (13), Justin (11), Kevin (5), Kami (3), and Maile (newborn); as well as her parents, George and Carolyn Matsuoka; sister, Gretchen Powell; two brothers, Jason and Dallas; and seven sisters-in-law; six brothers-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. She is a great example of being a selfless follower of Christ by constantly providing meaningful service to friends, neighbors and family. "MaryAnn, I love you so much and miss you so badly. It happened so fast I just wish we could have said goodbye. Thank you for these five beautiful children. When I look at them I see so much of you and it brings me so much strength. You meant so much to so many and you mean everything to me." Funeral services will be held Wed-nesday, January 24, 2007, 11 a.m. at the Copper Creek First Ward (4501 West 11800 South, Herriman). Friends may call, Tuesday evening at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Pkwy (10600 S), South Jordan. from 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church.
