My deepest sympathy goes out to the Cowart family. I had the pleasure of getting to know Ms Joan as I gave her chemotherapy at Low Country Cancer Care. She truly was a joy to be around and the love from her family was very evident every time we saw her. God Bless you and keep you during this time.

I am Nancy Newman's daughter-in-law Karen. I really loved Joan. Her heart and genuine kindness resinated though her constantly. I will miss our yearly Christmas card exchanges! And her fudge! She was so kind during our own family tragedy. She will be missed immensly! God Bless you all.
