To Fran & Bob's Children

Bob was a man that no one can describe- he was one of a kind. Very generous with his handyman skills - and truly a kind man, but a funny man all wrapped in one. Bob will be missed and we thank god for the time that god allowed us to know Bob. Our Prayers are wiith all of you and may you find peace and comfort in the days to come knowing that Bob is still in our hearts but has gone home where there is no more suffering.

Love,
Carolyn & Jesse Bland

To the entire Rose family, I just now got word on what has happened and am so sorry for your loss. Bob jr. has been a part of my family for years and we are all so crazy about him. The saying goes like father like son and in this case it is true. I remember his sparkling eyes and cheerful grin. I hope you all get through this with loving thoughts and happy memories. Lots of love from Florida....

Words, however kind,
can't mend your heartache:
but those who care and
share your loss wish you
comfort and peace of mind.
May you find strength
in the love of family
and in the warm embrace
of friends. May you feel the
peace of God as you let Him
embrace you and share in
your sorrow.
Deepest Sympathy

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Mom,
Know that you were a great friend and wife to Bob. A great mom to us kids. We all have so many wonderful memories with Bob. Our wedding, the bbq's, playing cards. How he hated those wild cards. I can not imagine the pain and lose you are feeling. Through it all you remain the rock that holds it together. Know that we are all here for you when ever you need us.
We love you! Dawnie & Guy

Mom,
God is near to the broken hearted, he tends to and defends the widow with love and grace. He's right there with you....
We are soOO going to miss our fun vacations, dinners, b-days and all the joking around at Bobs expense. He loved it! Its hard to believe that last year at this time we were all heading to Florida for Court's graduation. We had so many laughs. I'm glad we made such lasting memories.
Have confidence in knowing you were an amazing wife and his true soul mate... At times you two shined together and clearly had great fun.
We greatly appreciate all his "Mr. Fix it" skills, his visits to "the home" and the way he extended himself so generously.
We will always love & miss you Bob!

Aunt Fran,
We hope and pray that our Lord Jesus Christ comforts you and the entire family during this time of deep sorrow. We have quite a few great memories of Uncle Bob. One especially is our wedding video. He captured some lasting moments with my Mom and Dad. The video is the only video we have of my Mom and Dad. We will cherish it forever. He did a great job getting all the guests to share in our special day.
His narration was one of a kind!
He will be truly missed by Nana. She spoke of him almost every time I called her,” Bob is so good to me; he takes me here and there, and does things around the house for me I don’t know what I do without him.” He was God sent to her when my Mom died. Thank you Bob! We love you.
