Jennie Allen Obituary

East Bridgewater Jennie A. (Camillone) Allen, of East Bridgewater, died at her home, May 23, 2008. She was 74. Born and raised in Brockton, a daughter of the late Antonio and Maria (Dimarzo), she was a graduate of Brockton High School. She was a homemaker. Jennie enjoyed cooking, sewing, crocheting, bingo and gambling. She was the wife of Harold Allen and the late Richard Morey; mother of Deborah Toppan of Mansfield, Donna Allen of South Easton, Maria McGaffigan of East Bridgewater and Tina Connolly of Plymouth; stepmother of Keith Allen of Randolph, Donald Allen of South Easton and Karen Hill of North Carolina; sister of Joseph Camillone of Brockton and Gloria and the late Nicholas, Livia Daugirda and Andonetta Enos. Also survived by 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Wednesday in the Wales-Prophett Funeral Home, 35 Spring St., East Bridgewater, at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Central Cemetery. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Beacon Hospice, 45 North Main St., Fall River, MA 02720.

Sorry for your loss. Jennie was such a wonderful person. I am sorry that I was not able to attend but I think Jennie would have approved of me being with Scott and his family. My thoughts are with all of you.
