E. Taylor Obituary

Wareham E. Mildred (Blye) Taylor, 71, of West Wareham, died May 25, 2008 in Tobey Hospital, Wareham. She was the wife of Bobby E. Taylor and a daughter of the late William and Laura (Beatty) Blye. She was born in Stoughton and lived there for many years before moving to West Wareham in 1972. Mrs. Taylor worked for H. L. Bouton Company in Buzzards Bay for many years before retiring. Previously she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was a communicant of St. Patricks Church. She enjoyed playing bingo, playing cards and watching sports with her grandson, Rick Bailey. Survivors include her husband; a son, William R. Taylor of West Wareham; three daughters, Jeanne Taylor of West Wareham, Nancy Bailey and her husband Mark Robbins of Wareham and Priscilla Hartshorn and her husband Mark of West Wareham; a brother, Ernest Blye of Stoughton; two sisters, Sally Chisholm of Holbrook and Natalie Bolduc of Southport, N.C.; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; many nephews and nieces. She was the foster mother of eight children. She was predeceased by five brothers and six sisters. Her funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 29, 2008 from the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy. (Rte. 28), Wareham, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Patricks Church, High Street, Wareham. Burial will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. Visiting hours are from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 330 Congress St., 5th Fl., Boston, MA 02210 or to the American Cancer Society, 1115 W. As much as I did not see you these last few years, I am really going to miss you. I love you and appreciate everything you did for me while you were around. I am really going to miss our Midnight French Toast but I will keep that tradition going as long as I can to keep you in my heart and in my mind.
