Ralph Morse Obituary

East Bridgewater Ralph F. Morse, a longtime resident of East Bridgewater, died May 31, 2008, at Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital. He was 79. Born in West Bridgewater, he was a son of the late Willard and Edith Morse. He worked for many years in maintenance at the Pembroke Country Club. He enjoyed cross stitching and woodworking. He was the husband of the late Lillian; brother of Willard A. Morse Jr. of Halifax and the late Harold and Arthur Morse and Shirley Frazier. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Wednesday in the Wales-Prophett Funeral Home, 35 Spring St., East Bridgewater, at 11 a.m. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 9-11 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1115 West Chestnut St., Brockton, MA 02301.

You will be missed by all at the Council on Aging. We enjoyed having you at our socials and having you drop by to say hello. You are a gentle spirit and I pray you rest in peace.

Ralph, the swing will always be yours. You drew people there to stop and chat with you. I feel privileged to have known you for the last seven years. You have shown such courage and spirit.
