Arthur Goodwin Obituary

Taunton Arthur E. Art Goodwin Jr., age 60 years, of Taunton, died unexpectedly, Sunday, June 22, 2008, at Morton Hospital in Taunton. Born Wednesday, June 25, 1947, in Brockton, he was a son of the late Arthur E. and Helen M. (Snooks) Goodwin. Art was a graduate of Whitman-Hanson High School and was an avid sports fan. In his earlier years, he had lived in Whitman and then been a longtime resident of Taunton. He is survived by three daughters, Stacey Dousa and her husband Jamie of Avon, Karen Prescott and her husband Glenn of Carver and Brenda Roberts and her husband Joseph of Las Vegas; six grandchildren, Johnathan and Michelle Roberts and Jessica, Rebecca, Emily and Aaron Prescott; two sisters, Charlotte Conefrey and her husband Patrick of Taunton and Donna Higgins and her husband Roland of Brockton; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place Thursday from 5-8 p.m. in the Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home, 647 Main St., Brockton. Burial will take place at a later date.
