Barry Woodworth Obituary

Spring Hill, Fla. Barry Lee Woodworth, 75, passed away Feb. 13, 2008. He was the husband of Jean (Rose) Woodworth. Born and raised in North Easton, Mass., until his illness three years ago, he graduated from Oliver Ames High School in 1950. Barry was a veteran of the U.S. Navy Reserve during the Korean War. He worked for Factory Mutual Global as an engineer, where he retired from in 1995. A member of Foxboro County Club, he was an avid golfer and enjoyed fishing and vacationing in Myrtle Beach, S.C. He was the beloved father of Steven Woodworth of Massachusetts and Deborah (Woodworth) Stone of Florida. He was the grandfather of Jason Gray, Joshua Stone and Jillian Stone. Barry was the great-grandfather of Zachary and Kallissa Furtado and Brandon Lancaster. A memorial Celebration of Life service will be held Monday, June 30, at 2 p.m. in the Free Evangelical Fellowship Church, 604 Foundry St. (Rte. 106), Easton. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 220 North Main St., Natick, MA 01760, in memory of his late daughter, Joanne H. Woodworth.

I am sorry to hear of Barry`s passing,I grew up with himuntil moving to Florida in1947.I visited his home with my aunt Dorothy Pearson many times.I know his family will miss him but he is with the Lord and has no more pain

Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USNR during the Korean War. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
