Margaret Kerr Obituary

Kingston Margaret I. (Daniels) Kerr, of Kingston, formerly of Taunton, July 5, 2008, passed away at home at the age of 87. Margaret was the wife of the late William F. Kerr who passed away in 1965. She was born to the late Louis J. and Isabel A. (Murphy) Daniels. Margaret was a resident of Kingston for the last 1 years. Before that she had lived in Taunton for 41 yrs. A graduate of Brockton High School, class of 1939 and Simmons College, class of 1943. She was the retired secretary for the president of Reed & Barton in Taunton with 25 yrs. service. Margaret was an avid reader and also loved visiting with family and friends. She is survived by her sisters, Katharine Arms of Brockton, Helen Chaves and her husband Raymond of Kingston; sister-in-law of George and Joan Kerr of Brockton; also several nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Mary Currie and Isabel Comerford. A Mass of Christian burial will be Thursday, July 10 at 10 a.m. in St. Jude the Apostle Church (formerly St. Jacques Church), Taunton. Relatives and friends invited to attend. Visiting hours are omitted. Donations in Margarets memory may be made to the Taunton Animal Shelter, 21 West Water St., Taunton, MA 02780.
