Dennis Ieronimo Obituary

Bedford Dennis J. Ieronimo, 58 years, of Bedford, died unexpectedly, Saturday, July 12, 2008, at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center. Born in Somerville and raised in the Brockton area, he was a son of Joseph Ieronimo of Halifax and the late Bessie (Lambert) Ieronimo. Dennis had lived in Bedford for the past year, previously living in Boston and Somerville. He was a U.S. Marine veteran who served during the Vietnam era and was a member of AA for 28 years. Dennis enjoyed working on his computer, blues music and playing his guitar. In addition to his father, he is survived by three children, Jennifer Sorenson of Virginia, Christian Ieronimo of Oklahoma and Dennis Early of Brockton; and six grandchildren. He was the brother of Donna Swanson and her husband Keith of Halifax; Lisa McIver of Marshfield and Dina Ieronimo of E. Bridgewater. He is also survived by his beloved companion, Karen Martin of Stoughton, and her children Chris and Ryan; and four nieces and nephews. Funeral service in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont St. (Rte. 123), Brockton, Wednesday, at 10 am. Burial in Central Cemetery, Halifax. Visiting hours Tuesday, 5-8 pm. so sorry to hear about dennis . I knew him yrs ago like in 1975 he lived at 34 green st brockton he was with robin and they had a daughter jennifer i beleive was her name . again i am so sorry

Mr. Ieronimo,
Sir, as a fellow Marine I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USMC during the Cold War. Millions of Americans slept safe at night because you and your fellow Marines stood ready to defend our Country. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
