Dennis J. Ieronimo

Bedford Dennis J. Ieronimo, 58 years, of Bedford, died unexpectedly, Saturday, July 12, 2008, at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center. Born in Somerville and raised in the Brockton area, he was a son of Joseph Ieronimo of Halifax and the late Bessie (Lambert) Ieronimo. Dennis had lived in Bedford for the past year, previously living in Boston and Somerville. He was a U.S. Marine veteran who served during the Vietnam era and was a member of AA for 28 years. Dennis enjoyed working on his computer, blues music and playing his guitar. In addition to his father, he is survived by three children, Jennifer Sorenson of Virginia, Christian Ieronimo of Oklahoma and Dennis Early of Brockton; and six grandchildren. He was the brother of Donna Swanson and her husband Keith of Halifax; Lisa McIver of Marshfield and Dina Ieronimo of E. Bridgewater. He is also survived by his beloved companion, Karen Martin of Stoughton, and her children Chris and Ryan; and four nieces and nephews. Funeral service in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont St. (Rte. 123), Brockton, Wednesday, at 10 am. Burial in Central Cemetery, Halifax. Visiting hours Tuesday, 5-8 pm.
