Diane Colarusso Obituary

Middleboro Diane (Lally) Colarusso, age 52 years, of Middleboro, formerly of Boston and Brockton, died July 11, 2008, at the Martha's Vineyard Hospital, after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Alfred J. Colarusso. She was a graduate of St. Gregory's High School, Dorchester, class of 1973 and went on to Suffolk University and graduated class of 1977, where she met her husband of 27 years. She earned her master's degree in Computer Information Systems from Bentley College, Waltham. She had been employed for many years as a mathematics teacher, working for the towns of North Attleboro, Holbrook and Middleboro. She also worked for her husband's company, Exit 3 Trucking. She was a longtime member of Sacred Heart Church, Middleboro, where she was an active Religious Education teacher for several years. She is survived by her husband; three daughters, Colleen C., Allison J. and Christina M. Colarusso, all of Middleboro; two brothers, James Lally of Nashua, N.H. and Thomas Lally of Canton; one sister, Margaret Barry of Easton; her mother-in-law; Mary L. Colarusso of Brockton; several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at Sacred Heart Church, 340 Centre St., Middleboro, at 10 a.m. Visiting hours, to which relatives and friends are invited to attend, will be held Wednesday from 5-9 p.m. at the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak St., Middleboro. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to The Ladies of Sodality of Sacred Heart, 340 Centre St., Middleboro, MA 02346, would be appreciated For more information, please visit www.eggerandashleyfh.com.
