Mary Homer Obituary

Kingman, Ariz. Mary Ann (Leedberg) Homer, age 73, died July 12, 2008, after a series of illnesses. Born in Brockton, Mass., she was a daughter of the late Oscar R. Leedberg and M. Theresa (Maiellano) Leedberg. She is survived by her husband, Peter; her daughter, Piper; one grandchild, Niklas; two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Raymond, Richard and Robert; two sisters, Lorraine and Linda; 12 nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Margaret; and a family friend, George. Mary Ann attended Brockton High School. Before settling in Arizona, she and Peter lived in many states while he served in the U.S. Air Force. She was a hospital administrator at Boulder City Hospital in Nevada and she enjoyed painting. She was a loving mother and wife. She will be remembered for her great sense of humor. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association (www.diabetes.org).
