Dorothy Berry Obituary

Easton Dorothy V. (Keith) Berry, 86, a lifelong resident of Easton, died Monday, July 14, 2008, at the Copley of Stoughton after a brief illness. Born in Brockton, Dec. 21, 1921, a daughter of the late Wilfred P. and Sophie (Steffens) Keith, she was raised in Easton and was a 1939 graduate of Oliver Ames High School. Dorothy began working as a waitress in 1948 at the former OConnors News Store, where she worked for 13 years. After, she was a bank teller from 1961-1984 for what is now the Bank of Easton. Dorothy is survived by a son, Paul Berry of Easton; a brother, Harold Keith and his wife Mary of New York; a son-in-law, Joseph Boggs of Connecticut; two grandchildren, Stephanie Boggs of Arizona and Victoria Boggs of New York; a niece, Karen DAmbrosio of New York; and a nephew, Michael Keith. She was also the mother of the late Joan Boggs. Private interment will be held at the Unionville Cemetery, Easton. Arrangements are by the Kane Funeral Home, 605 Washington St. (Rte. 138), Easton.
