James King Obituary

Brockton James S. King, 69, of Brockton, died July 17, 2008, after a lengthy illness with cancer. Raised on the South Shore, he was a son of Margaret Stratton of Braintree and the late Stanley King and was a carpenter by trade. Jim was the loving partner of Lee (Zweigman); caring father of Glenn King of Pembroke, James S. King Jr. of Rockland and Donald King of Las Vegas; a loving grandfather; brother of Leonard King and Peg Melanson of Rockland, Kathy Simonds of Braintree, Annie McAuliffe of Hingham, Elaine King of Dorchester and the late Stephen King. All are welcome to calling hours Monday 4-8 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, funeral Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. in Belcher Chapel at Waitt Funeral Home and burial at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
