Priscilla A. Cole

Easton Priscilla A. (Bennion) Cole, 61, of Lincoln Street, Easton, formerly of Norton and Attleboro, died Tuesday at the Southeast Rehabilitation Center in Easton. She was the wife of Burton S. Cole. Born in Attleboro, July 6, 1947, she was a daughter of Elsie (Rhodes) Bennion of Burlington, Vt., formerly of Plainville, and the late Alan Bennion. She was a 1965 graduate of Norton High School. Prior to her illness at the age of 47, she was employed as a secretary for various local companies. She was a member of St. Marks Episcopal Church in Foxboro, where she served her church as a choir member. Mrs. Cole was an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star having served as past matron of Hope Chapter No. 41 O.E.S. in Attleboro, past advisory board member of the Attleboro Assembly of the Order of Rainbow for Girls, past advisory board member of the Taunton Assembly Order of Rainbow for Girls, member of the Rose Croix Chapter No. 79 O.E.S. of Taunton, member of the Phillicians Eastern Star Association, member of the Star Samaritan Eastern Star Association and served as an associate member of the Messenger Eastern Star Association and former member of the Chartley Garden Club and the Attleboro Citizens Band Radio Club. In addition to her husband of 37 years and her mother, she leaves a brother, David Bennion of Vermont; and one nephew and three nieces. Visitation Friday, July 25, 2008, from 7-9 p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Ave. (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, mile on left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.
