Chester Szwedko Obituary

Brockton Chester Szwedko, 65, of Brockton, died July 23, 2008. Native of Poland, he was retired from Jones and Vining as a foreman of machine engineering and enjoyed fixing and refinishing clocks, watches and appliances. He was the beloved husband of Mary (Ajewski) Szwedko; loving father of Henry Szwedko (and his wife Dawn) of Wareham and Stephanie Dupuis (and her husband Edward) of Brockton; devoted grandfather of Kristina, Jonathan, Kylie and Jordan Szwedko and Sophia and Eric Dupuis; brother of Felicja Bartnik, Maria Bester, Jadwyga Zygmunt, Irena Sabina, George Szwedko and the late Julian, Janina and Jeffrey Szwedko. All are welcome to calling hours Sunday 2-6 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, funeral Monday at 8 a.m. from Waitt Funeral Home, funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Church and burial at Calvary Cemetery.
