Philip Costantino Obituary

Brockton Philip Costantino, 81, died Monday, July 21, 2008, at the Northshore Regional Hospital in Slidell, La., after a period of failing health. Born in Boston, he was raised in the South End and Jamaica Plain and was a graduate of Boston Schools. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Costantino moved to Brockton at age 33 and lived there for 20 years before moving to Louisiana over 25 years ago. Mr. Costantino worked as a carpenter for Local 1846 in Louisiana for many years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his son, Philip S. of Louisiana. He was the grandfather of Philip S. DiCostantino and Sean J. DiCostantino, both of Louisiana. He was the brother of Vincent DiCostantino of Louisiana. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren. Funeral prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rte. 27), Stoughton, Monday, at 10 a.m. Visiting hours prior to services from 9-10 a.m. Directions and obituary at www.farleyfh.com.
