Andrew J. Fruzzetti Sr.

Middleboro Andrew J. Fruzzetti Sr., of Middleboro, and formerly of Bridgewater, passed away after a brief illness, in Boston, July 29. He was age 75. Born in Brockton, Andrew attended Bridgewater High School and later attended Northeastern University for Architectural Design. Andrew worked for various architect firms in Boston and Cambridge. Later, Andrew worked as a construction superintendent for which he traveled all over the United States. He retired in 2007 from Blais Builders of Middleboro as a project manager. Andrew enjoyed socializing and was a member of the Mayflower Lodge of Masons, Bridgewater Lions Club and served on the Recreation Commission for Bridgewater. Andrew's hobbies consisted of golf, bowling, fishing and boating. However, his greatest joy was competitive skating with his wife Donna. The two of them enjoyed the sport immensely and they once qualified for the National Competition in Florida. Andrew is survived by his wife of 47 years, Donna L. (Randall) of Middleboro. He was the devoted father of Andrew J. Fruzzetti Jr. of Philadelphia, Curtis A. Fruzzetti of Hyannis, Lisa M. Medeiros of Dartmouth, Randall S. Fruzzetti of Westford, Michael A. Fruzzetti of Halifax and the late Sheree Lee; proud grandfather of nine; and great-grandfather of four. Andrew is also survived by his brother, Lawrence A. Fruzzetti of Maine; and a niece.
