Leocadia Cheromcha Obituary

Marshfield Leocadia "Lee" Cheromcha, 93, of Florida and Marshfield, died July 27, 2008. A graduate of Brockton High School, Lee was an office manager at the Seattle office of the Archbishop of Seattle, then at Calo Company in Hanover. While here, she was a communicant of Our Lady of Ostrobrama Church. She resided in Sunrise, Fla., for the past 30 years, summered at Rexhame Beach in Marshfield and enjoyed playing bingo and cards. "Aunt Lee", as she was affectionately known, was an exceptional woman with an innate ability to bring laughter and joy to those whom she met. She will be greatly missed by her family and forever remembered for her unique warmth and caring influence, her calm and dignified manner and her unselfish dedication to the ones she loved. She was the beloved sister of Ida Antanaricz of Florida, Edward Cheromcha of Brockton and the late Julia Tammy and Alexander Cheromcka; and loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. All are welcome to calling hours Sunday 4-8 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, funeral from Waitt Funeral Home Monday, at 9 a.m., funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein Parish at 10 a.m. Cremation and private burial. Farewell my bingo friend. You were always pleasant and happy. I hope you find someone to play cribbage with, you loved it so. Everyone looked forward to your returning each year. Rest in peace.
