Julia Sedani

Brockton Julia (Trojano) Sedani, 92, of Brockton, died Friday, Aug. 1, 2008, while visiting her daughter in Fort Myers, Fla. She was the wife of the late Louis Sedani. Born May 26, 1916, in Brockton, she was a daughter of the late Pasquale and Gianna (Iacobbaci) Trojano. Julia was a lifelong resident of Brockton. Julia formerly worked as hair stylist. She was a member of the Ladies Auxillary VFW in Abington. Julia loved dancing, trips to the mall and dining out. She was married to her late husband, Louis, for 65 years. She was very devoted to her family. She is survived by her children, Barbara Geisinger of Fort Myers, Fla., and Paul Sedani and his wife Lucille of Brockton; her grandchildren, Richard Hartwell of Whitman, Paul Sedani Jr. of Brockton, Michelle Lacerda of North Carolina and Michael Sedani of Palmer; her sister, Mary Sergi of Brockton. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Roosevelt Trojano, Rose Fruzzetti, Vetrino Trojano, Fiorino Trojano and Josephine Pratti. Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St. (Rte. 123), Brockton, Tuesday, Aug. 5, at 8 a.m. thence to Christ the King Parish, 42 Wendell Ave., Brockton, where a funeral Mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 9 a.m. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton.
