Madeline Griffin Obituary

Lakeville Madeline M. (O'Connell) Griffin, of Lakeville, formerly of Bridgewater, died Aug. 4, 2008, at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was 68. Born in Bos-ton, a daughter of the late Harold and Madeline (Don-ohue) O'Connell, she was raised in Westford. Madeline was a graduate of Cardinal Cushing High School in South Boston. She was a homemaker who enjoyed Chatham, gardening, dogs and was an avid Patriots fan. She was a friend of Bill W. for 21 years. She was the wife of Robert F. Griffin Sr.; mother of Pamela Pierce of North Attleboro, Robert Griffin Jr. of Sanford, Maine, Suzanne Casale of Bridgewater and the late Madeline Griffin; sister of the late Harold O'Connell Jr. Also survived by 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two nephews. Funeral from the Prophett Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. (Rte. 18), Bridgewater, Friday at 8 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Bridgewater, at 9 a.m. Burial will be in St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery. Visiting hours are Thursday from 4-8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Kidney Association, 6110 Executive Blvd., Suite 1010, Rockville, MD 20852. Prophett Funeral Home 508-697-4332

So sorry to hear about Madeline. I always loved talking and visiting with Madeline over these last 20 years I have come to know her & your family.
