Hilda V. Webster

Brockton Hilda V. (Turgeon) Webster, 93, of Brockton, died July 27, 2008. Born and raised in Fall River, she resided there and worked as a hand stitcher at various firms and was a member of ILGWU. She moved to Brockton in 1965 and enjoyed traveling and singing. Wife of the late Everett J. Webster Sr., she was the beloved mother of Marilyn F. Paradis (and Maurice) of Antioch, Calif., Gloria J. O'Shaughnessy (and Paul) of Brockton and the late Everett J. "Eddie" Webster Jr. (and his widow Phyllis of Fall River); loving grandmother; great-grandmother; and great great-grandmother; sister of Gloria Dube of Fall River and the late Lorraine Forcier and Rudolph Turgeon; aunt of many. All are welcome to calling hours Saturday 9-9:45 a.m. in Belcher Chapel at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, with prayer service at 9:45 a.m. Burial at Pocasset Hill Cemetery, Tiverton, R.I.
