Sylvia Rosen Obituary

Brockton Sylvia R. (Singer) Rosen, of Brighton, formerly of Brockton, entered into rest August 9, 2008. She was the beloved wife of the late Stanley Rosen; devoted mother of Amy Chapman and her husband Lawrence Chapman of Parkland, Fla., formerly of N. Easton, Howard and his wife Kristen Rosen of Northboro and the late Nancy McCabe and Susan Rosen; loving sister of the late Adele Rosenthal and Herbert Singer; cherished grandmother of Rebecca and Max Chapman, Madeleine, Jacob and Emma Rosen, Andrea, Timothy, Liam, Aidan and Anna McCabe. Services at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington St., Canton, Monday, August 11, 2008, at 11 a.m. Memorial observance will be at the home of Howard and Kristen Rosen immediately following the service and through Wednesday from 12-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. daily. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Evercare Hospice, 950 Winter St., Suite 4830, Waltham, MA 02451. Mrs. Rosen was a 1956 graduate of The B.I. I am sorry to hear about Sylvia's passing. I knew Sylvia when I lived in Dorchester as her brother Herb was my best friend and I spent a lot of time at the Singer house. Again my condolences to the family.
