Lillian Banks Obituary

Plymouth Lillian S. (Sylvia) Banks, of Plymouth, formerly of Brockton, died Aug. 9, 2008. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis E. Banks; loving mother of Diana M. Gross of Hanover, Linda L. Carrico of Plymouth, Sharon R. Banks of Canaan, Maine, Tony Banks of Stoughton and John C. Banks III of East Taunton. Also survived by 10 grandchildren. Born in New Bedford, Jan. 17, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Rosalina (Pacheco) Sylvia. She worked as a dietary cook at West Acres Nursing Home in Brockton. A private graveside service will be held Tuesday in the Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton. Memorial donations may be made to the Cranberry Hospice, 36 Cordage Park Circle, Plymouth, MA 02360.
