Hard to believe Uncle Stanley's been gone for 13 yrs now. I so enjoyed our talks over the years and appreciated him starting me on making Nantucket Lightship baskets.
Cousins, if you happen to see this, best to you all. You were so lucky to have this wonderful dad.
Love,
Cousin Linda

Mr. Jordan,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the USN during WW II aboard the battleship USS Arkansas(BB 33). The Arkansas provided valuable naval gunfire support to our soldiers in France at Normandy during D-Day and in Southern France in August of 1944 and also to our Marines and soldiers in the Pacific at Iwo Jima and Okinawa in 1945 as well. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

I am so lucky that I was able to meet and get to know Stan. It was always such a treat to know that I would be lucky enough to spend some time with him on my visits to Boston. I know that Stan will be greatly missed... his spirit, his warmth, his humor.
If you believe that love is transcendent then know that he loves you and know that he will always be with you.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.
