Russell F. Jones

Brockton Russell Fulton Jones, died at his home in Brockton, Aug. 13, 2008, after a long illness. He was 73. He was a truck driver all his life and served in the U.S. Navy Reserves for eight years. He played guitar on W.B.E.T. with his mother and sister as a young boy and at Grange meeting with his mom. He also loved playing guitar with his longtime friend, Roger Randall. He loved fishing in Prince Edward Island, hunting in Vermont, golfing with his close friends and spending time with his family. He was the beloved husband of Sally A. (Soucy) Jones; and son of the late William Louis and Hazel (Morrill) Jones; loving father of Ronald of Taunton, Brenda Benjamin of Lakeville, Deborah McGoff of Norwood, Bruce of Brockton, Linda Cribbin of Whitman, Vickie LeRoy of New Hampshire, Russell of Florida and Suzannah Coelho of New York. A memorial service will be held at the Assembly of God Church, 199 Warren Ave., Brockton, Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2008, at 11 a.m. No flowers please. Any donations to Cancer fund or hospice.
