Anna F. Reed

Anna Reed Obituary

Austin, Texas Anna F. Reed, daughter of the late Alden and Pearl (Costellow) Reed, passed away July 5, 2008, in Austin, after a brief illness. Miss Reed was a 1939 graduate of Whitman High School and received her advanced education at the Chandler School in Boston. Throughout her executive assistant career with the Exxon Corp., Miss Reed lived in Houston, Los Angeles and Dallas. Miss Reed is survived by her nephews, G.H. Crawford of Bass River, Mass., Phillip Reed Crawford and family of Exeter, N.H.; and a great-niece, Mrs. Russell Ripple and family of Taylor; who was a daughter of the late Peter Spencer Crawford. Graveside services will be held Thursday, Aug. 21, at 12:30 in the Colebrook Cemetery, Whitman, Mass., with the Rev. Douglas Hale officiating. For online condolences, visit www.blanchardfc.com.
