Elaine Madden Obituary

Taunton Elaine Claire (Arsenault) Madden, age 77 years, of Taunton, formerly of North Attleboro, died Monday, Aug. 18, 2008, at the Marian Manor, Taunton, after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late John S. Madden, who predeceased her in 1975. Born in Pawtucket, R.I., Sept. 9, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Anna (Gingras) Arsenault. Raised and educated in North Attleboro, she had been employed with the former Components Manufacturing, of West Bridgewater, as a quality control supervisor, for more than 20 years. She had attended St. Martha and Mary's Church, Lakeville, and had volunteered for numerous fund raisers and dinners. She also volunteered at the Senior Center, Lakeville, as a secretary. Survivors include one daughter, Elaine and her husband Donald Parish of Taunton; one brother, Arthur Arsenault of North Attleboro; two grandchildren, Shioban Parish of Taunton and Scot Bradley of Dighton; two great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Armand Arsenault and Alice Allen. Visiting hours have been omitted by request. A memorial Mass, to which relatives and friends are invited to attend, will be celebrated Friday, Aug. 29, at 10 a.m., at St. Martha and Mary's Church, Bedford Street, Lakeville.
