Mr. Bridgwood,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the USN during WW II aboard the attack transport ship USS Henrico(APA 45) figting both the Germans and Japanese in some of the toughest battles of WW II-especially Okinawa where the Henrico was hit by a Japanese Kamikake suicide plane on April 2, 1945 that killed 51 sailors and soldiers as well wounding countless others and causing extensive damage to the ship. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
