Mary Hasomeris Obituary

Avon Mary (Drivas) Hasomeris, 81 years, of Avon, died Aug. 25, 2008. She was the wife of Peter S. Hasomeris; mother of John P. Hasomeris and his wife Susan of Brockton and Flora Rosenfield of Bridgewater; grandmother of Tara and Alexander Hasomeris, both of Brockton; sister of Arthur Drivas of Andover, Celia Nalesnik and Eleanor Kalavretinos, both of Peabody. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St. (Rte. 123), Brockton, Thursday at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral service in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 457 Oak St., Brockton, at 11 a.m. The Rev. Anthony Evangelatos will officiate. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours Wednesday 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marys memory may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472.
