Eleanor Vasapollo Obituary

Brockton Eleanor M. Ellie (Argetes) Vasapollo, 54 years, of Brockton, died Monday, Aug. 25, 2008. She was born in Boston, a daughter of the late Suela (Perrone) and James Argetes. Ellie spent most of her life in Brockton and was a graduate of Brockton High School, Class of 1971. Ellie worked in the food service program at the Arnone Elementary School in Brockton, as well as co-owner and operator of The Nail Loft in South Easton, with her wife Jackie. Ellie enjoyed gardening, flowers of all kinds and was known for being very creative, especially interior decorating. Murphy; her two daughters, Keri Ann Farrell of Braintree and Gina Marie Vasapollo of Las Vegas; two grandsons, Kendrick and Lincoln Farrell; a niece, Erin Almond of New Bedford; and her beloved dogs, Buddy and Zoe. A sharing of Ellies life will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont St. (Rte. 123), Thursday from 3-5 p.m. Cremation will follow. Jackie,
I don't even know where to begin. I did not hear of the news until tonight, please accept my condolences.
For 10 years Ellie was like my mom (and you, well you were definitely the fresh aunt), I looked to her for advice on everything. I never felt like just another client because not only did you two let me into your home but you let me into your hearts as well. I will treasure that always. Ellie was a great person, she will be deeply missed by everyone, especially me. She has always held a special place in my heart because of her caring and thoughtfulness when I needed her.

Please know that you're in my thoughts and prayers always.
Lots of Love,
Jen

My deepest sympathy for your loss. I'm sure Ellie will be gathering all her furry friends (and some of the not so furry) on the other side for one helluva party! Imagine the food she's now preparing? Ellie was one strong lady and her battle was one that gave others courage. Keep her memories alive in your heart and listen for her voice for I am certain she is right there beside you, comforting and thanking you.
