To The Avery/Monteiro Family,
I wasn't one of Michael's friends, instead I was his little sister's Teacher when she attended Headstart. It was great to see her face when her Big Brother would walk in to the classroom and pick her up at the end of the day. His bond with her was special !! I send my prayers to you all, as I'm sure he will be missed very much !!

I just remember talking to u online and seein that u were doin good . Then from me hearing what happend from kimmy made me think why u not u ...I loved seeing u when we did meet heads ...Then me remembering high school and us laugh and jokin around in the hallways and at lunch time..wow u were so tall and handsome with ur blue eyes ....I will always miss u and remember all the joy u brought to me and others ...I know ur watchin down on us ...God Bless and i love u till then !!

Im sorry for losing such a great son,brother, cousin. he was so great.. ill always remember that smile with those curly eyelashes and blue eyes. his walk and the way he stands. the sound of his voice and the way he dances. his smell.. and ofcourse how loving and caring he was.. and yes he still sucked his thumb and twirled his hair.. i still cant believe that he's not with us anymore. ill always love him.. and he'll always have my heart.. i miss him so much..

I was blessed to have met and come to know Mike through my daughter Sasha. They graduated together in 2005. Mike quickly became a fixture at our home. He was a WONDERFUL young man and will be fondly remembered and sadly missed. Keep smiling Mike we will miss you!
