Arthur F. Rich Jr.

WELLS, Maine Arthur Freeman Rich Jr., age 80, passed away Aug. 24, 2008, at Maine Medical Center in Portland, after a brief illness. He was born in Brockton, Mass., a son of the late Arthur and Evelyn (Tirrell) Rich. He was raised and educated in Brockton and was a retired Teamster with Local 653 at Bourne Transportation Company in Brockton. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Marjorie H. (Bruce) Rich; a daughter, Kathleen Gill of Milford, Mass.; a son, Arthur Freeman Rich 3rd of Kennebunk; a stepson, Wayne Madden of Middleboro, Mass.; and a stepdaughter, Marcia Studenski of Wareham, Mass.; one brother, Warren Rich of East Bridgewater, Mass.; three sisters, Barbara Cifelli of West Bridgewater, Mass., Eleanor Rock of Brockton and Ruth Lariviere of East Bridgewater; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Stanley E. Rich and William Rich. Interment was at Hillside Cemetery, North Berwick.
