Edith Damon Obituary

BRIDGEWATER Edith F. (Osborne) Damon, died peacefully, Sept. 10, 2008, at Life Care Center of West Bridgewater. She was age 73. Born in Providence, she graduated from Bridgewater Academy in 1953 and had lived in Bridgewater for many years. Edith enjoyed knitting, crochetting, bingo, bowling, and camping. She was a member of the Senior Center of Bridgewater, Helping Hands Society and a former troop leader for the Girl Scouts. Edith was the loving mother of Debra Wood and her husband James "Woody" of Bridgewater and Bruce and his wife Elizabeth Damon of Taunton; sister of Steven Osborne of Bridgewater, Linda Andrade of Taunton and the late Richard Osborne; proud grandmother of Kyle Damon. Also survived by nieces, nephews and friends. A graveside service will be held Saturday, Sept. 20, at Northville Cemetery, Oak Street, in East Bridgewater, at 10 a.m.
