Alice Carey Obituary

Alice Carey RAYNHAM Alice Carey, died Sept. 14, 2008, in Morton Hospital in Taunton, after a lengthy illness, at the age of 91. Alice was a daughter of the late James and Agnes (Shannon) Carey. She was born in Quincy and educated in Quincy schools. She had lived in Rayham the majority of her life. Alice was a member of the Raynham Council on Aging and was employed as a senior aide for them. She enjoyed ceramics and all sports. Alice was the sister of the late Joseph and James Carey. She was the aunt of Diane Carey of Lynnfield and Elaine Carey-Costa and her husband John of Raynham; great-aunt of Zackariah, Anthony and Alexis. Funeral from the OKeefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., in Taunton, Thursday, Sept. 18, at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial in St. Anns Church in Raynham at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. Donations to the Raynham Council on Aging, 2215 King Phillip St., Raynham, MA 02767.
