Paul A. Ahlborg EAST BRIDGEWATER Paul A. Ahlborg, age 64 years, passed away suddenly, at home in East Bridgewater, Wednesday. He was the husband of 39 years of Nancy M. (Riordan) Ahlborg of East Bridgewater. Born in Brockton, he was a son of the late Arnold W. and Doris (Atwood) Ahlborg. He was a graduate of West Bridgewater High School and had been a resident of East Bridgewater since 1970. Paul was employed with the Plymouth County Sheriffs Department, from which he retired. He was a member of the U.S. Army and a Vietnam veteran. He belonged to the Vega Club of Brockton, the Commercial Club of East Bridgewater and the V.F.W. of Whitman. He enjoyed his family and liked to travel. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Timothy Ahlborg of East Bridgewater, Christopher Ahlborg and wife Becky of Brockton; a daughter, Allison Ahl-borg and fianc Raymond Johnson of Ohio; a granddaughter, Paige Johnson; and three sisters, Judith Ahlborg of Brewster, Ann Packard of Easton and Laurie Whelan of West Bridgewater. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, Sept. 24, at 11 a.m. at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. Visitation will be Sunday, Sept. 21, from 4-8 p.m. in the Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home, 647 Main St., Brockton. The cemetery restricts amount of flowers at grave.
