Thomas Smith Obituary

BRIDGEWATER Thomas J. Smith IV, of Bridgewater, died peacefully, at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center, Sept. 23. He was age 57. He was the loving companion of Penny C. Witcher of Bridgewater; loving father of Brian T. Smith of Bridgewater; brother of Candace Gagnon and Steven Smith, both of Florida, Dennis Smith of Leominster, Mark Smith of Weymouth, Lisa Stevens of Whitman, Kelly Herbert of New Bedford, Diane Vilk of Cape Cod and the late Martin Smith; son of Thomas J. Smith III and Doris (Johnson) Herbert; and stepson of Regina Smith of Randolph. Visiting hours Saturday, Sept. 27, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Prophett-Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home (formerly Prophett's), 98 Bedford St., Bridgewater. Funeral services are private.
