Laura Ebbs Obituary

MEDWAY Laura A. Ebbs, 71, died Thursday, Sept. 25, 2008, at Milford Regional Medical Center, in Milford. Born in Boston, she was raised in Randolph and was a graduate of Randolph High School, Class of 1954. Miss Ebbs was a veteran of the U.S. Navy for over 20 years, retiring in 1980, with the rank of chief yeoman. She was a resident of Stoughton for over 25 years, before moving to Medway two years ago. She was a computer expert. She is survived by her three sisters, Dorothy Hembrough of Brockton, Ethel Taranto and Mary Hayward, both of Franklin. She was predeceased by six brothers and two sisters. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rte. 27), Stoughton, Monday, at 9:30 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton, at 10:30 a.m. Visiting hours Sunday 2-5 p.m. Burial will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
