Arlene M. Corriveau LAKEVILLE Arlene M. (Trucchi) Corriveau, R.N., 68 years old, died in Morton Hospital, Taunton, Wednesday evening, Sept. 24, 2008. Born in Taunton, daughter of the late John and Mabel (Papazoni) Trucchi, Arlene was a graduate of Taunton High School, Class of 1958, and 1961 graduate of Boston Childrens Hospital School of Nursing. She was employed as a registered nurse at Dover Memorial Hospital, Taunton State Hospital, Paul A. Dever State School, Morton Hospital at various times, but her most fulfilling times as a nurse was working for the VNA of Southeastern Massachusetts, especially as a hospice nurse. She was the quintessential care giver and was always remembered by those family members of her patients. For the past nine months, she had been employed at the Taunton Nursing Home. Arlene was a former member and fund raising chairman of the Greater Taunton Unit of the
American Cancer Society. Although in ill health, she attended her 50th Class Reunion last month. She had been a resident of Lakeville since 1970 and a communicant of St. Martha and Mary Church in Lakeville. She was the widow of Richard Corriveau; and the mother of Lisa Mills of Taunton, Donna Chausse of Wareham and John Corriveau and his wife Jessica of Taunton. She was the sister of Eleanor Nunes of Taunton, Edward Trucchi and his wife Irene of Taunton, Peter Trucchi and his wife Marilyn of Taunton and the late John Trucchi of Raynham; and was the sister-in-law of Barbara Trucchi of Raynham and the late Albert Nunes. Arlene was the grandmother of nine; and great-grandmother of one; and was the aunt of several. Funeral, to which relatives and friends are invited to attend, will be held from the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave. (Rte. 138 South), Taunton, Tuesday at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian burial in St. Josephs Church at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Monday from 4-8 p.m. Interment St. Francis Cemetery.
